Our very first meal when we land in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
Ramen!
Hokkaido ramen is more flavourful and salty than Osaka though. We prefer the lighter ramen of Osaka :P
We see heavy snow when we travel to our winter resort!
We visit a seafood curb market that serves residents in Sapporo. Mostly locals and the seafood looks great.

One of the best meal! Needless to say, the seafood is served very fresh at the restaurant at the seafood market....
Seafood in Sapporo is terrific.
And we finish the meal with Japanese honeydew melon. Super sweet and tasty!
