The National Dress

I have just received an email from NUS...

The NUSS President and the NUSS Management Committee cordially invite you to the NUSS 50th Anniversary Lecture to be delivered by Mr Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Singapore on Saturday, 19 March 2005. Details are as follows:

For jupiter's sake, what the hell is "National Dress"?
so we guys are suppposed to come in shirt & tie, and the girls are coming in National Dress.

apple, a teacher in the National Education System revealed,
"The singapore dress is the one that SIA stewardess wear"

I'm definitely going to this lecture, just to see the national dress.
Woot! SIA girls!

They... NUS... expect girls to... show up in a national dress?

WTF is a national dress? A cheongsam? A tudung? A sari? Or, God forbid, really the SIA sarong kebaya?

What the hell is wrong with our school?!
