The One about Bubblemunche.

The inevitable has happened.

Bubblemunche's blog has done a blogicide.

I have been reading about Bubblemunche ever since mrbrown browned him about the one about Coke in a vacuum flask.
where Eddy Neo (Bubblemunche's name) found out that coke and vacuum flask don't mix.

And in the midst of reading his archives, a statement at the top of his blog grabbed my attention.

Spoiler ahead, for those blissfully in ignorance, you may want to go away.
Shoooo!

"I bear absolutely no resemblance to Eddy Neo. He is pure fiction. Serious."

I did a few scan through his blog and FAQs, and found out that Eddy Neo is a story. Fiction, but based on the author's past experience.
very interesting.

And I got stuck to his blog.

Its not just his style of writing that amuses and entertains plenty of us, there is something about Eddy Neo that make us reflect and ponder about his life.
I think that more than half of his blogders know he's fiction yet we continue to "oooooh" and "ahhhhh".
We were thrilled when he got attached, for the 1st time.
To the Boon Lay Girl.

His Boon Lay Girl.

The Boon Lay Girl....lookalike. Posted by Hello

Okok. this is gillian cheung, not Boon Lay Girl, but oh well. I don't think Eddy Neo would argue against this pic.

I wonder, when we know that he is fiction, why do we still read his blog? why do we still anticipate every moment of his life? why do we cling on to our hearts in his courtship?

why do we feel sad when he faces dejection over Susie, his dreamgirl? (ironically she became an insurance agent, who ahhhh, asked him out for tea. Hah! don't u despise insurance agents.)

cherub: why do we get so involved with this fiction character?
neofik: because there is an eddy neo in every one of us.
