This is all very sweet. except of course, I received this on 17th Feb' 2006.
Wow, even with technology, an E-card can be mailed 2 months late.
Outstanding.

But i guess I shouldn't be particular about such stuff. After all, they have many, many graduates. It must be hard working drafting each e-card personally, you know, writing the greetings, putting the cards in the envelope, pasting the stamps....oh wait...

uhm. well, to type out all those email addresses!! it must be a labourious process! (i'm not the only ex-NUS students to receive this late e-card).

no wonder they need to increase the tuition fees........

So far, some students have called for an EGM (Extra-ordinary General Meeting), called on the resignation of NUSSU's team, a letter in the Straits Times Forum was published (17th Feb'2006), highlighting the wasteful expeditures spent on the centennial celebrations, the absence of the "mysterious resources" that NUS had justified the tuition fees hikes for.

I heard there was a mass "Wear Black in Protest" day on campus.

I am not very good at such things, but if any NUSSU, sorry, I mean NUS-students-who-are-planning-to-overrun-NUSSU-and-replace-them people, if u happen to read this blog, i humbly suggest a mascot.




maybe we can have a Ninja turtle, u know, coz turtles can live more than 100 years old, very fitting for the NUS-100yo celebration. Also Ninja, because they are very good at *stealth*.

before u know it, there is a fee hike, u know, to pay for a new building, with koi pond and all that, so that students can learn better coz their administrators will be more relaxed and happy.
administrators very important ok!!


oh wait. I just learnt from here that Ninja turtles are already the mascots of NTU.

I guess we can always use one of the archrivals of the ninja turtles (NUS always dun like NTU mah)....wat? Shredder?? NO LAH. Shredder way too cool for NUS.

Rocksteady the rhino!

it would be very good coz, uuhhh..... coz from the previous post, one of my blogder requested for a dead rhino (as opposed to dead plants) for Valentine next year. since I have no idea where to find a rhino, perhaps a dead rhino mascot would be nice.

beside if she doesn't like a fake rhino, i can always give the dead mascot to Xiaxue.
i think she would love a dead mascot.
