I'm excited.
I just used my biometric passport!
You scan your passport, then impose ur thumb on the scanner. Once you are verified, you're through!
Very convenient. So much better than queueing up for to see a grumpy guy and hearing all these "chomp chomp" sounds (you know the sound of the stampings on the passport).

And I tot Budget Terminal got no air-con?
Heng ah, some guy finally woke up and realised that was a dumb idea in warm singapore.
You don't wanna piss off too many tourists, man.

COOOOOL! biometric passport! i want i want.. what does it look like? show show. ;)
more specifically, show us ur passport picture. whahahahahhaha!
u can't tell that its high-tech.
there is nothing special abt it, really. just a normal looking passport.
just that the govt has a central system with all our thumbprints.
in ur NRIC card, remember? the thumbprint is in their system...
Er, thats not the biometric passports. The biometric passports have not been issued yet. Biometric passports actually store your fingerprint/iris/etc information on your passport itself.
Those are just automated gateways ... just like those who have the access cards, so lesser queue.
