A female friend of mine (who's a teacher) sms-ed me this the other day, after 2 unanswered calls.

"please don't call me anymore. I got bf liao"

WTF.


i replied "eh. I'm calling on you to discuss insurance, as we agreed 2 weeks ago"

This is from a girl that told me that she wants to purchase insurance from me, about 2 months ago, and i told her that we would discuss more later 2 weeks ago.

And she replied "oh its ok. My bf bought me insurance"

WTF. Since when a boyfriend will buy insurance for gf?
eh? why are pple like that, attached leh, then abandon all friends.

some friends really "got gf/bf, no buddy!"


And it has to be a female. I scrolled down my msn list and there are like 7, 8 MSN lovesick nicks. Bloody nicks that proclaim overwhelming love for boyfriends.
in fact, over a year ago, there were other lovenicks, but of course, as expected, most of these nicks now are of singlehood.

Of course, of course.

My friend did a social experiment the other day.
he broke up with his gf of 3.5 years and he was very upset.

he decided to conduct a simple experiment.
he sent sms-es to all his friends and asked them to accompany him out.

2 of our friends did not have the luxury of the time to accompany him.
ah, energy and time.

Time & Energy, something limited to be rationed out.

I had a frank discussion with one of the guys who failed the experiment.
i know that he is a good friend, just that his priorities and planning in life is different from us.

actually i don't blame him, though from this thought-provoking experiment, i feel that one only need a handful of good friends, then strength the relationships with them.
All those other kinds of friends.
Just ignore ba.

its no use trying so hard to maintain so many groups of friends, only to be placed in 2nd priority once something new in his/her life pops out.

i have 2 best friends who were betrayed by the ones they loved, once their girlfriends found something better (work, a better pasture, or simply new hunting grounds for better husband-candidates) than their current boyfriends.

In a dramatic proof that real life is more coincidental than drama, while I was blogging this entry with half-a-heart, cuteandpretty (but she not cuteandpretty leh) got very moody coz she is fast losing her friends.

her 3 best friends are attached and stick to their boyfriends so much, its hard for them to go out as an all-girls outing.

she lost all her best friends to their bfs.

See? priority.
You were never close to #1 in their lives.
