I have not used M1 3G before (though it was my very first telco account many years ago, back then it was CDMA and eventually I migrated to GSM, it was only calls and sms back then) and honestly friends around me who are using M1 have told me they are relatively happy with the coverage.
You think its a coincidence all 3 telcos in Singapore follow the traffic lights colour? |
But it would help to have this map to highlight to M1 existing deadzones or loopholes.
If not, at least it serves to compare to Singtel and Starhub's relatively large number of deadzones....
Similarly to what I have done for Starhub, I have set up an "Area with Poor M1 3G Coverage"(Link) on Google map and it is open to public, so starhub users, please share your location with poor network there!
1) Click on the Google Map (Link), and on the map, choose the location that you have experienced weak coverage,
2) RIGHT-click on it, select "What's here?"
3) Select "Save to Map"
It should automatically save to the Google Map. The power of crowd-sourcing!
